Kos, Dodos, Smarties, & Animal Shows
Well Said: Kos on Majority Rule, Primaries & Digital Media
The point I would add to this is the danger that this bill, combined with the lack of substantive action on labor, social welfare, Wall Street and environmental issues will depress turnout and alienate many of the new voters President Obama has brought into the political process.

Putting the Twit in Twitter
After admitting during the 2008 campaign that people can cause climate change, Sarah Palin now thinks it’s arrogant and naive to think people can cause climate change because that would be overpowering God. So if God made the trees, I suppose we can’t cut them down. And isn’t mountaintop removal by the coal industry also impossible.
In another stunning revelation, water pollution is also now impossible as was the extinction of the dodo bird. That last part is true. Apparently, the dodo still lives (and tweets).
Educating Preschoolers
Nothing political about this article on new research into educating preschool minds, but it’s fascinating.
Quote from The Note
“It would be disingenuous to say it never crossed my mind, and I’d be just as happy doing an animal program.” — Former Gov. Mike Huckabee (R-Arkansas), to The Washington Post’s Howard Kurtz, on whether he’ll run for president again.
Deal! Somebody get this guy an animal show! I’ll even dvr it.
It won’t be on Fox. They already gave their animal show to a real animal.
